SunEpoxy 100 Overview

SunEpoxy 100 is a high performing, low viscosity, 100% solids resin system used in a variety of flooring applications. SunEpoxy 100 can be used as a high build coating, as an aggregate-filled “quartz” floor or as a vinyl “chip” seamless floor application. This material cures blush-free and provides an outstanding balance of physical strength, abrasion and chemical resistance.

The versatility of SunEpoxy 100 makes it ideal as a primer, finish coat or aggregate binder in a wide variety of flooring applications including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, correctional facilities, loading docks and other areas requiring high performance and is suitable for vehicular traffic. SunEpoxy 100 can be field or factory tinted in an array of color choices. Surface texture can be varied from aggressively slip resistant for wet areas such as showers and food preparation to airplane hangar smooth.

Where to use:  SunEpoxy can be varied from aggressively slip-resistant for wet areas such as showers and food preparation areas to an orange peel texture suitable for offices, hallways or laboratories. Add SunFlek quartz beads, SunChips, solid or multi-colored vinyl acrylic paint chips for SunMetal metallic pearl pigment to enhance the texture as well as the aesthetics of these dynamic concrete coating solutions.

How installed:  All coats of SunEpoxy can be applied by brush or roller. Once the first bond coat is applied, an optional seeding of chips or quartz beads can be added to provide a slip resistant as well as decorative seamless floor solution. A second top-coat is then applied to encase the effects.
