Timeless Surfaces
When the owner at the Ashcombe Mansion in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, first purchased the historic property, she began restoring site for use as a venue. She reached out to SUNDEK of Pennsylvania for help with some of the surfaces. Using Classic Texture, SUNDEK crews elevated the Grand Terrace (shown here). They also used Classic Texture in the ballroom, creating complementary patterns that fit the mansion’s timeless elegance.

Eye-Catching Play Space
For the Alliance Children’s Garden in Butler Park, the city of Austin envisioned something special. Wanting to make it unlike other kids’ outdoor play areas, they contacted SUNDEK of Austin. In addition to an intricate wall that runs along the park, they resurfaced a climbing wall (pictured), a cheese wall, and other surfaces that make the park an exciting place for kids to explore and play.

Pool Area Glow-Up
Homeowners in Baytown, TX, consulted SUNDEK of Houston about their desire for a decorative surface for their pool deck. However, they were a little unsure of exactly what they wanted. At first, they considered a knockdown texture for its practical qualities. After some discussions, they decided they wanted something a little fancier. (But they didn’t want it to break the bank). That’s when SUNDEK of Houston introduced them to the idea of using Tuscan, SUNDEK’s hand-crafted texture finish. The decorative application refreshed the space, taking the pool area from a basic space to a gorgeous retreat.
Revitalized Rooftop
The rooftop pool deck at BLVD Reston Station, a luxury apartment complex near Washington, D.C., was beginning to deteriorate. This caused a big problem when the pool began leaking into the offices and residential spaces below. Owners contacted SUNDEK of Washington who came up with a solution. First, they removed the failing coating. Next, they resurfaced the rooftop deck with SUNDEK’s waterproofing system that’s both functional and gorgeous.
Splash Pad Artistry
McMullen County Heritage Park in Tilden, Texas, is now home to a vibrant splash pad and play area. When looking at the splash pad, most wouldn't know that SUNDEK of San Antonio faced significant hurdles during the project. After SUNDEK completed most of the requested design, stakeholders requested significant design and color changes. This required the crew to redo most of the surface they'd already installed. Thanks to SUNDEK's flexibility and attention to detail, the team adapted to the revisions. When the project was complete, they delivered a durable, slip-resistant play space that will serve the community for years to come.
Driveway Makeover
When homeowners set out to upgrade their cracked, damaged driveway, they contacted SUNDEK of Nashville and other decorative concrete companies. Their priorities were clear: address the surface issues and create something safer for Nashville’s rainy and snowy weather. SUNDEK recommended resurfacing with SunCoat and SunStamp for a slip-resistant, customizable finish. Instead, the homeowners went with another contractor’s stain-and-colorband solution. However, within six months, they called SUNDEK back. SUNDEK delivered exactly what they’d originally proposed. The homeowners were thrilled to get their durable, low-maintenance surface that enhances their home’s exterior.
