Why Surface Preparation Makes All the Difference
A premium surface system only performs when the substrate is properly prepared. Cracks, poor adhesion, and moisture issues are the hidden faults that shorten the lifespan of any court, regardless of how good the top coat is.
SUNDEK + Nova Sports addresses the root causes first. Our preparation and repair product line covers patching, leveling, priming, and resurfacing, giving you better durability, fewer failures, and a surface you can confidently warrant and maintain.
- Novacaulk — Elastomeric two-step crack repair for hairline cracks under ½"
- Novalevel — High-solid leveling compound for pavement defects up to 1" wide
- Novabond — Acrylic patch binder for high-performance slurry and patching mixes
- Novasurface — Ultra-premium acrylic resurfacer that eliminates pavement defects before the color system is applied
Our certified teams handle everything from repair through final top coat. Contact us to schedule a surface evaluation.
Custom Colors, Logos & Court Design
Nova Sports surfaces are fully customizable, from single-color recreational courts to fully branded competition facilities complete with logos, multi-sport line configurations, and facility signage.
Court Colors
Choose from a full spectrum of court colors engineered for UV resistance and long-term vibrancy. Classic court blue, forest green, bold red, or a custom color to match your brand or school colors. We make it happen.
Multi-Sport Line Configurations
Need basketball AND pickleball lines on the same court? We configure multi-sport layouts using contrasting line colors to clearly delineate each playing area, ideal for parks, schools, and recreation centers.
Custom Logos & Branding
Center court logos, team names, facility branding, and sponsor graphics are all part of the final finishing step. We treat every court like a signature project, because it is.
Frequently Asked Questions
Nova Sports systems are engineered for tennis, basketball, pickleball, multi-sport recreation, inline skating, and track applications. Each product is purpose-built for the specific performance demands of the sport it serves.
Yes — resurfacing is one of our specialties. SUNDEK + Nova Sports handles the full process: surface assessment, crack and defect repair, priming, and a new performance top coat. It's a cost-effective alternative to full court reconstruction.
With proper preparation, professional installation, and routine maintenance, a Nova Sports acrylic court surface can last 8–15 years or more. Longevity depends on usage intensity, climate exposure, and maintenance practices.
Nova Sports' Novacrylic® line offers three options: Combination Surface® (high resilience, low-abrasive finish), Novacushion® (fine-rubber cushion blend for comfort), and Ultracushion® (EPDM rubber granules for top-tier shock absorption and player safety).
Absolutely. Nova Sports systems come in a wide range of UV-resistant court colors. We also handle custom logos, team branding, multi-sport line configurations, and perimeter finishes to give your facility a professional, polished appearance.
Not necessarily. Nova Sports' WB 100 water-based epoxy primer is designed for concrete without requiring acid etching. Your SUNDEK installer will assess the substrate and select the appropriate primer, either CP-761 or WB 100, based on conditions.
Both are heavy-duty acrylic systems for basketball and recreation courts. Novaplay II® is the extra heavy-duty version, specifically engineered for inline skating, high-impact use, and surfaces with extremely demanding daily traffic.
Yes. Whether you need a new court built from the ground up or an existing surface restored, SUNDEK + Nova Sports handles the complete scope, from substrate prep and repair through final top coat, line marking, and warranty support.
