Michael Mercado

Position: National Production Manager

Michael grew up in the decorative concrete world with his dad, and worked at Texas Bomanite prior to SUNDEK. He is the National Production Manager managing projects nationwide with traveling crews for SUNDEK Commercial Contracting. He coordinates logistics for deliveries of materials they may need on job sites. He also schedules and coordinates commercial jobs to maintain a consistent workflow for the crews.

He enjoys spontaneous cookouts with coworkers. When he’s away from his desk, you’ll find him playing a friendly game of ping pong or joking around with coworkers. He is always willing to assist others when they need help.

Michael is always chasing his kids around as they grow up and enjoys watching them play sports. During college football season, he is glued to the TV in his free time. He was a paratrooper in the Army and jumped out of airplanes.
